Half of the Reign of the Targaryens in Westeros
By: Dine Rostianti

This book contains history of the Targaryens from the time Aegon conquered Westeros to the beginning of Aegon III's reign. There are reigns of nine king, in a period of about 150 years from Aegon III to Aerys II, the last Targaryens King who started the Game of Thrones story, which are not described in this book.

I consider George R. R. Martin successfully created hundreds of characters (or even thousands?) with their respective personalities. Kings, queens, princes, princesses, lords, knights, lesser lords of so many great houses, lesser houses, and cities. Then there are maesters, septons, septas, traitors, wildlings, commoners who have influenced the history of... See More

Westeros, and the hundreds of characters who are related to each other. Don't forget the dragons and the swords which will also be associated with various characters. Each part of the vast Westeros, plus Essos, has its own natural, cultural and historical character. All of these networks of links also span hundreds of years.

George R. R. Martin never creates the perfect character. Not a single period of the Targaryen king's reign has been free of disaster. Even if there is a period that is considered the glory of the Seven Kingdoms, it is the result of the king's hard work and intelligence. Mr. Martin describes in detail the wisdom, greed, cruelty, ignorance, intelligence, shrewdness of kings in ruling his kingdom. The glory and destruction of the kingdom were largely influenced by the style of the king.

The pictures in this book help readers to create the imagination in their own minds. Unfortunately, there is no map of Westeros and Essos as in The Song of Ice and Fire, even though the story in this book involves many areas in Westeros and Essos.

Perfect Companion
By: Nisa Adani

For a Game of Throne fans, this book is a must have (and also a must read) I hope they can publish The wind of winter sooner! Can't wait to read that book! It's been almost 10 years after the last book published!
