A small town, with a dark history of hundreds of years. Women who were found drowned in pool and in river, was this suicide or murder? Into the Water is told from the point of view of several characters. Everyone keeps their own secrets, everyone has their own sins, everyone lies, everyone has a hand in mysterious deaths. Paula Hawkins is good at creating an atmosphere full of mystery, gripping, which triggers suspicion towards each character, an atmosphere that mixes mystical and logical, hallucinations and reality. This is the first Paula Hawkins book I have read, and I like it.
