Description

See the Grishaverse come to life on screen with Shadow and Bone, now a Netflix original series.

Inspired by myth, fairy tale, and folklore, #1 New York Times-bestselling author Leigh Bardugo has crafted a deliciously atmospheric collection of short stories filled with betrayals, revenge, sacrifice, and love.

Enter the Grishaverse...

Love speaks in flowers. Truth requires thorns.

Travel to a world of dark bargains struck by moonlight, of haunted towns and hungry woods, of talking beasts and gingerbread golems, where a young mermaid's voice can summon deadly storms and where a river might do a lovestruck boy's bidding but only for a terrible price.

Perfect for new readers and dedicated fans, the tales in The Language of Thorns will transport you to lands both familiar and strange--to a fully realized world of dangerous magic that millions have visited through the novels of the Grishaverse.

This collection of six stories includes three brand-new tales, each of them lavishly illustrated and culminating in stunning full-spread illustrations as rich in detail as the stories themselves.

Beautiful piece of book
By: Hikmalinda Ayu Safitri

A SUPER BEAUTIFUL BOOK! It is really beautiful in all aspects. Beautifully written and beautifully illustrated dark fairy tale. I can't get enough of all stories in this book. This book will tell some informations for readers who have read Shadow and Bone trilogy also by Leigh Bardugo, but it won't affect anything for those who haven't read the trilogy since it is not actually related to the story. You will find a lot of moral values from these stories. Totally worth it!

Captivating and beautifully illustrated
By: Gentur Aji Satyananto

I love this one. The growing illustration in every page made me imagining which part of the illutration can be related to the story on this page. And the final illustration in the end of the story is just stunning. For the story, I especially like the first and the last story. So deep in the meaning. We can also learn more about Grishaverse through these stories. Overall, this one is a terrific combination of story and picture.
