Inspirational book
By: Tiara Widiastuti

Though the story about each person written briefly, it highlights important parts of their lives from which every girl (or woman) can relate to and find them inspiring. Besides the stories, its pictures are also beautiful. Final words, I enjoyed this book very much!

I can’t wait for the second book in this series. Definitely will buy it!

This book is a good start to introduce young kids in reading biography. The book covers notable women of various time, not only will it be encouraging and aspiring for little girls to read, but could also be good for little boys.

Inspiring
By: Inas Junus

The illustrations is beautiful. There are so many great & inspiring women presented so that any girl can relate with them. I, as a adult, also find this book very interesting, since there are many famous names that I did not know before.

Empowering, Moving, and Inspirational
By: Octa Saktianti

I came across this book while I was looking on bestseller list of the year. Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls written as if they were fairy tales, each centering on a formidable and extraordinary woman from history or current day: Elizabeth I, Serena Williams, the Brontë sisters, Frida Kahlo, and many more. The name itself fascinated me because most of the feminist achievements were because of those women, raised in a patriarchal society, backed by socially constructed gender roles which furthered internalised misogyny in the form of restrictions. Adding to the feminist cool factor is each story is complemented by a portrait of the woman designed by a different female artist from across the globe. Empowering, moving, and inspirational. These are true fairy tales for real-life heroines who definitely don't need rescuing.
