Before reading Tales from Shadowhunter Academy, I've read 7 books by Cassandra Clare and I love all of them! So naturally, I read Tales from Shadowhunter Academy with high expectations. I'm so glad that even after 7 books, Cassie Clare still hasn't disappoint me. Tales from Shadowhunter Academy consists of 10 stories and told from Simon's point of view. But the story itself isn't just about Simon, most of them are actually about other shadowhunters and downworlders. My personal favorites are of course the one about The Infernal Devices' characters (The Whitechapel Fiend and Nothing but Shadows) and the story about Mark (Bitter of Tongue). If you have read and loved Cassie Clare's other books, I'd definitely recommend it to you! It gives you a lot of backstory about secondary characters and characters in Cassie's upcoming books.
