Description

Now a major motion picture: Love, Simon, starring Nick Robinson and Katherine Langford!

William C. Morris Award Winner: Best Young Adult Debut of the Year * National Book Award Longlist

A remarkable gift of a novel.--Andrew Smith, author of Grasshopper Jungle

I am so in love with this book.--Nina LaCour, author of Hold Still

Feels timelessly, effortlessly now.--Tim Federle, author of Better Nate Than Ever

The best kind of love story.--Alex Sanchez, Lambda Award-winning author of Rainbow Boys and Boyfriends with Girlfriends

Sixteen-year-old and not-so-openly gay Simon Spier prefers to save his drama for the school musical. But when an email falls into the wrong hands, his secret is at risk of being thrust into the spotlight. Now change-averse Simon has to find a way to step out of his comfort zone before he's pushed out--without alienating his friends, compromising himself, or fumbling a shot at happiness with the most confusing, adorable guy he's never met.

Incredibly funny and poignant, this twenty-first-century coming-of-age, coming out story--wrapped in a geek romance--is a knockout of a debut novel by Becky Albertalli.

Plus don't miss Yes No Maybe So, Becky Albertalli's and Aisha Saeed's heartwarming and hilarious new novel, coming in 2020!

5 stars read
By: Nisa Rahayu

to be honest, i'm not a huge fan of contemporary but, this book was such an excellent read. it was an heart-warming, fluffy and cute story. I find the relationship between simon and his parents very interesting that we don't get to see very often in other contemporary YA book. and i love the way this book brought up 'coming out' in a good  way. I think this book has a big influence to the readers regardless the age. and I really recommend this book to everyone who has not read it.

3.5/5 stars

I really had a big expectation when i read this book because i've literally seen a lot of positive comments scattered across the internet. It's actually kinda good, but it's not as good as i thought it would be. It speaks about coming out in a good way, even an interesting new way for me. The vibe that i got was that Simon is not afraid to do it, he was just don't care about coming out. He feels like he's family will be to nosy about it and he doesn't want to think that if he do it, he will change in a big way. I love the friendship in this book especially Abby and Simon. The first 60 pages of the book didn't grip me that much but after that it went... See More

smoothly. The writing style is simple and i can dive through this book in a small amount of time. The story itself is not as complex as i think it would be in fact i think the plot is pretty simple. The plottwist was good but not that amazing i kinda figured it out already. Overall this book is worth your reading time because it only took 4-5 hours to read and it's a "feel good" kind of book and has a happy ending

Great book!

One of my favorite reads from last year. The kind of book that you can read in one sitting. There will be a movie adaptation based on this book that will be released this year.

Menarik untuk Dibaca
By: Safara Rijadi

Genre yang menarik untuk dibaca karena merupakan salah satu buku yang mengangkat tema LGBT. Buku ini layak dibeli oleh orang-orang yang membutuhkan bacaan tidak terlalu berat
