I think this is my first read of a female character which is Laia, that is not the most heroic female character like the others. I mean, she start as a Slave, daughter of a famous rebel but still in doubt that she is not as brave as her mother. I like how pure she is, sometimes she is brave, but sometime she shown how she is just a stupid and naive seventeen yo girl who want to do everything to save his imprisoned brother. But I really hope she will be smart enough on keeping her love life between Keenan and Elias in the future. ... I mostly love every character in this book, about their pureness, the real human they are. There's some evil side of them, but there's always reason of why they become like that. Even how the author describe Helene when her feeling to Elias are up and how both of them handle it at the end. I won't say I love this book very much, but I've never got so emotional, fear and anger at the same time while reading this book which is I really like it when I'm reading a book and mean that this book really is amazing.
