"Another win for Sanderson . . . he's simply a brilliant writer. Period." --Patrick Rothfuss, author of the New York Times and USA Today bestseller The Name of the Wind

"Action-packed." --EW.com

"Compelling. . . . Sanderson uses plot twists that he teases enough for readers to pick up on to distract from the more dramatic reveals he has in store." --The A.V. Club

This book is focused more on the action, not all of them are intense (I rather disappointed in this because I expected more) but you'll feel the action-packed vibes in it from the beginning until the end. Yes, I loved how this book ended, the final fight, and THE PLOT TWIST! Good heaven! I have no idea how can that happened because I didn't expect that at all. The main character of this book was David, he's one of many people who hates Epics, especially Steelheart and his goal was to kill him because of what he did. He then met The Reckoners, the group of Misfits who had the reputation in pursuing and killing the Epics. David is a cool character in here, he's a lowkey... See More

geek cinnamon roll. But something that I don't really like about David is he looks so vulnerable and bare, easy to guess. Sometimes I really want to slap him because of his instant love towards Megan. I hate if he's being a lovey-dovey puppy. But in the bright sides David always had his ways to amuse me, he has every piece of information wrapped up around his head but on the other side...he's SO BAD AT MAKING METAPHORS.
