But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

** John Green has over 1.2 million Twitter followers, and almost 700,000 subscribers to Vlogbrothers, the YouTube channel he created with his brother, Hank.

** 'Electric . . . Filled with staccato bursts of humor and tragedy' - Jodi Picoult

The world is not a wish-granting factory
By: Stella Wenny

This was my first John Green's book and I fell in love with how he writes characters. His book always has deep topics wrapped in beautiful metaphors, something that I don't see a lot in Young Adult books. People say that his characters don't feel like real people, but what do you know about what kinds of people that are real or not? And who says that you have to make real characters to make a fiction relatable or enjoyable?

Beautiful. Breathtaking
By: Leanita Winandari

I remember that I read this book because it becomes John Green's popular work. The Fault in Our Stars in one of many reasons I give my attention to young adult books.

The story is beautiful and sad. I love how John Green wrote a story about cancer but it doesn't make me feel deprress when I read it. Hazel is a good narator. She's funny and smart, and the chemistry between her and August is really strong.

But my favorite character in this book is Isaac.

The Fault in Our Stars
By: Eviana Misty

I don't really like it at first, but after re-read this book again, I like it better. This is a good book, not a typical teenager romance. I like it even in dramatic situation, they don't add too much drama. I love the quotes, "some infinities are bigger than other infinities."

Awesome book!
By: Winoko Christofel

This is one my favorite book of all time. It's the first John Green book that I read. I've reread it for like six times, I'm a bit obsessed with it back in college, I even memorized some of the book's quote. I like the writing, the characters and the overall story. It's the first book that made my cried I never knew that a book can cause a pretty severe emotional burst until I read this book. 10/10 would read it again.
