The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up is not joking around. It made me turn my life 180' and I barely have what I call clutters nowadays. So many people might mistaken the book and what's inside as minimalism when it isn't. It's not maximalism either. It's called 'cleaning up your life with what sparks joy'. After I tried the method, I've never looked back again.
Her unique perspective on how we should be dealing with our belongings is very intriguing.
After done my reading, i was motivated to declutter my books
next is my pile of clothes..
wish me luck
Inspirational writing that even the act of re-organizing your stuff could bring positive impact into your life.
“The best way to choose what to keep and what to throw away is to take each item in one’s hand and ask: “Does this spark joy?” If it does, keep it. If not, dispose of it"
Although many praise and critique for this book, I still consider this as a helpful book for me. I spent two days to tidy-up my goods and still learning to do it better. Some people doesn't like this book because it's sounds ridiculous and can't relate with Japanese's culture and value. Even, I don't agree with all lessons shared on this book. But, still I gain much to value and appreciate things. We must pay more attention to out belongings and tidy-up our room also our mind.
