After his colossal work in Omnivore Dilemma, he is still not done. In this book he divides all cooking method into 4 elements (fire, water, air and earth) into corresponding cooking method and describe the chemical processes that creates and destroys food. After that he describes the philosophy of each cooking method and the histories surrounding the cooking method.
I am really surprised that I enjoyed this book despite not being able to cook. It is definitely interesting, so much so that I am interested in taking up baking as a hobby
