psych theory development
By: Isti Maisaroh

Good for beginners, but mostly not useful for someone who look for practical knowledge. I have studied basic psychology for my thesis in English Literature, so I was hopeful to find a book that cover psychological analysis for out day-to-day life, but this book didn't meet my expectation. Because the content is not practical.

This book mostly (or almost from the beginning to the end), cover the history of psych from the earliest time (since Freud) and its development through the years. Not that I don't like it, oh well, I don't! but this seems to be too academic to me. It covers what the scientists' (or psych experts) new founding about human psych every few... See More

years (or generation).

In conclusion, every chapter covers a new theory of psych by certain scientist in a certain year and it describes what those new theories were in simple language. Basically that's everything about the book.

Good book

This gives a basic knowledge of psychology to people with no previous knowledge and quite a comprehensive book. The price is a bit expensive but worth it!

PSYCH101
By: Sandra Atmadja

For anyone interested in Psychology but doesn't have plenty of times to read lots of reference books. Not too deep explanation, but a good start for beginners to know what psychology study entails. I enjoyed going through it though.
