Description

Percy is confused. When he awoke after his long sleep, he didn't know much more than his name. His brain-fuzz is lingering, even after the wolf Lupa told him he is a demigod and trained him to fight. Somehow Percy managed to make it to the camp for half-bloods, despite the fact that he had to continually kill monsters that, annoyingly, would not stay dead. But the camp doesn't ring any bells with him.

Hazel is supposed to be dead. When she lived before, she didn't do a very good job of it. When the Voice took over her mother and commanded Hazel to use her "gift" for an evil purpose, Hazel couldn't say no. Now, because of her mistake, the future of the world is at risk.

Frank is a klutz. His grandmother claims he is descended from ancient heroes, but he doesn't even know who his father is. He keeps hoping Apollo will claim him, because the only thing he is good at is archery. His big and bulky physique makes him feel like a clumsy ox, especially in front of Hazel, his closest friend at camp. He trusts her completely-enough, even, to share the secret he holds close to his heart.

Beginning at the "other" camp for half-bloods and extending as far north as the land beyond the gods, this breathtaking second installment in the Heroes of Olympus series introduces new demigods, revives fearsome monsters, and features other remarkable creatures, all of whom are destined to play a part in the most important quest of all: the Prophecy of Seven.

Excellent sequel with homage to the previous series
By: Angeli Verdiansin

I am a big fan of the original series and I thought nothing could top it but reading the second installment in the new series proved that I was wrong! I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between the characters and the adventures. The main protagonist is a much-beloved character but the new ones are excellent as well! it is so nice to see the universe expanding and being introduced to these new amazing characters. Big thanks to Periplus for supporting my reading addiction :). Definitely worth to read and recommend to buy!

Good sequel
By: Leanita Winandari

It's good to meet my favorite character in this book after I know what happened to him in The Lost Hero.

The Son of Neptune brings me to a new home: Camp Jupiter, a roman camp in San Faransisco. There is so much informations about Roman aspects in here. The action is less-interesting than the previous book, but Percy saves my day. For the first time after PJO series ends, I finally can see Percy trough other characters' eyes.

And I LOVE Reyna--though she is just a minor character here. I hope someday Riordan will make a series about her stories and journeys. Because this girl slays and is totally a badass.

Just good.
By: Farhan Hibatullah

Didn't quite as I expected tho. Thought I would like it, but not quite really. It was a bit boring, because the intriguing part started after page 350. But doesn't mean this book bad tho, still great but feels boring.
