I heard mixed reviews about this book and I was so wary that I wouldn't like it. But apparently I like it! I didn't enjoy the first half of the book to be honest because I just couldn't relate to Scarlett at all, or her sister, and their father sounded two dimensional, but when the game starts going deeper and more magical intriguing things are happening and there are all these gorgeous description about scent and colors, I love it! And Julian oh God oh God, he's irresistible isn't he? Would definitely read the sequel! Hopefully Stephanie Garber's writing becomes even better!

This book was enchanting. The world building is magical. Definitely has the Alice in wonderland vibes in it, which makes it interesting.

Caraval is probably the most hyped books in 2017. Everyone in the book world seems to have read it and love it, which makes me both excited and afraid. Finally, a year later I read this book, and boy, do it deserve the hype. There are so many reasons why you'll love this book, and among those reasons are the sisterly-love between Scarlet and Tella (these sisters love each other to death), the amazing world-building of Caraval, and of course, the mind-blowing and unexpected twist at the end of the book! I can barely stop reading this book, and it took me less than 2 days to finish it. Anyway, if you haven't read this book, you definitely should pick it up as soon as possible. You won't regret it!
