Between 4−5 stars rating, 07 March 2018This thing is different than others and with the release of obsidio in this month (March 2018)its so perfect to get this one. As many been said, the format used in Illuminae is different. Tbh I don't feel much since I used to read Meg Cabot boys series with email and chat format but the AI perspective written in very marvelous way. Bravo to the authors!
Between 3−4 stars rating, 23 January 2018Scific isnt my genre and i basically grow bored with this type of genre but... ILLUMINAE is something different, its such a special unique book and thats an amazing one hell adventure story! The format totally took the experience read into the next level even tho i must say it took me like 150 pages to finally can follow the flow (thats what took 0.5 start from my 5stars read) The story is so gripping from the start and i shed tears on some scenes :') The Characters.... oh whale how do i start.. Kady Grant is smart and brilliant and brave (and has PINK hair) and her relationship with Ezra Mason is also so cute (i love this book has some romance issue once awhile) and then there is....AIDAN but i dont want top spoiled everything here but AIDAN is also something special Anyway, all i can say is... i need to give a standing applause for Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman for wrote this book!!

I've never read anything like this and I didn't know that I would love this format so so much. But it's not a surprise as I'm a visual person who love to see anything with great design. I was skeptic before because YA fantasy keeps failing me, and the first few pages of this book didn't hook me. Typical YA fantasy, a big catastrophe and all the main characters think is about his/her problem with girlfriend/boyfriend. But it gets soooo much better!! I love the first half... See More
