A fast-paced thriller, as promised. Standing around 180 pages, this particular work of Murakami harboured a though apace storyline, it brought on the lonely widower Aoyama, having been left by his wife 7 years back, living with his son Shige, and his dog. Forlorned and struck by his son's persuasion to remarry, he held an audition to find a spouse laced on his right arm, promising a role in a film project. Entered Yamasaki Asami.
Although there isn't much exposure to the thriller that I had previously yearned for, this is still something new to devour on a one-sitting read.
