NOW A NETFLIX FILM, STARRING ELLE FANNING AND JUSTICE SMITH!

The New York Times bestselling love story about two teens who find each other while standing on the edge. And don't miss Take Me with You When You Go, Jennifer Niven's highly anticipated new book with bestselling author David Levithan!

Theodore Finch
is fascinated by death. Every day he thinks of ways he might kill himself, but every day he also searches for--and manages to find--something to keep him here, and alive, and awake.

Violet Markey lives for the future, counting the days until graduation, when she can escape her small Indiana town and her aching grief in the wake of her sister's recent death.

When Finch and Violet meet on the ledge of the bell tower at school--six stories above the ground-- it's unclear who saves whom. Soon it's only with Violet that Finch can be himself. And it's only with Finch that Violet can forget to count away the days and start living them. But as Violet's world grows, Finch's begins to shrink. . . .

Brace yourself if you want to read this book!

The saddest leave the least of clues. Out of all the fictional characters I have encountered so far, Theodore Finch is definitely one of my faves. I loved how he saw the world differently. Thank you Jennifer Niven for writing such a powerful book and thank you for spreading the strong message behind this story as well. :)

THIS BOOK IS A HEAR-WRECKING

just give me a time to collect my broken hearts, it broken piece by piece. I have mix feelings about this book, like seriously Finch you're fuckin' asshole. Like, WHY!!!!!! I'm very angry, like... so stupid :"( So, I know the feeling when the one you love committed suicide, and they're just gone. Theodore Finch, I hate you! I hate you! I wanna punch you with my own hand if you were real, YOU DO HAVE A CHOICE, BASTARD!

Incredibly Real

All the Bright Places follows the story between Theodore Finch and Ultraviolet. They are brought together by death which makes the story sounds gloomy. It is a heartbreaking, charming, tragic love story between two young people with themes of mental illness, suicide, loss, grief, bullying and abuse.

Theodore Finch may be a fictional character, but what makes it relatable character is that his mental illness and the way he struggles every day just to get out of bed are incredibly real.

Mind opener and emotional wrecker

"You are all the colors in one at full brightness"

Is my favorite quote from the book. The story was an eye opener for me that there are numbers of young people with mental disorder either severe or not. And most of them are hiding it because people's judgement, also bullying! The story was... See More

there's-always-silver-lining-in-everything type of story. The character of Violet and Finch were written beautifully. The climax was predicted, however the process to the climax made me curious what would happen next and couldn't stop reading untill it finished. The epilogue was the most heart wrenching for me. Overall, it's a great book from the story, character building, and the lesson learned.
