The #1 New York Times Bestseller (October 2017) from the author of The Da Vinci Code.

Bilbao, Spain

Robert Langdon, Harvard professor of symbology and religious iconology, arrives at the ultramodern Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attend a major announcement--the unveiling of a discovery that "will change the face of science forever." The evening's host is Edmond Kirsch, a forty-year-old billionaire and futurist whose dazzling high-tech inventions and audacious predictions have made him a renowned global figure. Kirsch, who was one of Langdon's first students at Harvard two decades earlier, is about to reveal an astonishing breakthrough . . . one that will answer two of the fundamental questions of human existence.
As the event begins, Langdon and several hundred guests find themselves captivated by an utterly original presentation, which Langdon realizes will be far more controversial than he ever imagined. But the meticulously orchestrated evening suddenly erupts into chaos, and Kirsch's precious discovery teeters on the brink of being lost forever. Reeling and facing an imminent threat, Langdon is forced into a desperate bid to escape Bilbao. With him is Ambra Vidal, the elegant museum director who worked with Kirsch to stage the provocative event. Together they flee to Barcelona on a perilous quest to locate a cryptic password that will unlock Kirsch's secret.
Navigating the dark corridors of hidden history and extreme religion, Langdon and Vidal must evade a tormented enemy whose all-knowing power seems to emanate from Spain's Royal Palace itself . . . and who will stop at nothing to silence Edmond Kirsch. On a trail marked by modern art and enigmatic symbols, Langdon and Vidal uncover clues that ultimately bring them face-to-face with Kirsch's shocking discovery . . . and the breathtaking truth that has long eluded us.

Origin is stunningly inventive--Dan Brown's most brilliant and entertaining novel to date.

Dan Brown - Origin
By: Adri Anas Rhepon

A very good book.

Too bad the shipment cost always double once buying 2 books. Tripple once buying 3 books. And so on and so forth.

You should consider again whether customer requires the shipment in one time or separetely. So customers can buy in even cheaper price.

Brilliant!

All done! Love Langdon more and more. Bye for awhile Fletcher, or even my muse Sexton. No offense, but seriously Mr. Brown is getting better with his "twisted-sense-of-humor". And of course, the plot twist tho!!!! Jezz!!

Definitely on the top of My Favourite Dan Brown's Book.

Based on all of his books, I actually liked Deception Point the most. And somehow the story following Robert Langdon (the other four books) still couldn't remove Deception Point from my top favourite. But this time, Dan Brown surprised me.  I didn't have high hope for this book at the beginning as the last book Inferno was only 4 Stars for me. But Dan Brown really... See More

amazed me this time. I think this book just the right one to be my first book to begin 2018.

** spoiler alert ** So there are very interesting characters in this book. Robert Langdon as always never been my favourite character so my favourite will go to Edmond Kirsch, a genius computer engineer who boldly claimed that he can answer the most debatable questions in human kind, "Where do we come from?" and "Where are we going?".  This character was written so real for me that I felt I could relate to him in many ways. His first thought in PROLOGUE, had sparked me, "Historically, the most dangerous men on earth were men of God... especially when their gods became threatened." I fell in love with this character immediately.

This character was written so real for me that I felt I could relate to him in many ways. His first thought in PROLOGUE, had sparked me, "Historically, the most dangerous men on earth were men of God... especially when their gods became threatened."

I fell in love with this character immediately. So when this character's assassination happened, I was reading with a motive. "Who has the nerve to kill my favourite character?" I made guesses. Every character became a possible suspect for me, even Ambra Vidal and Prince Julian (not Robert Langdon of course). Although knowing Dan Brown, I knew how he liked to mislead us, the readers. So I also put my suspicious to the most unlikely one, including the real mastermind. This book is really one of the book that I don't want to put it down, but I also don't want to have it ended. Highly recommended.
