We are fully conscious of the fact that there are errors within these pages and that there are also numerous omissions, but the staff has not been sparing of its efforts to avoid them and-offers. As a legitimate excuse, the magnitude of the task and the failure on the part of a few to co-operate to the extent of furnishing their por traits, etc.
The staff has attempted to profit by every suggestion which tended to make the book representative of the life and spirit of Ole Miss. It has been the constant aim of the members of the staff to depict the University as it is today with the hope that it will be a greater one in the future.
