This is totally different from Harry Potter. It’s very dark, very dark. It’s not for children obviously. But I love it. Because it still has the mistery, the wondering, and plot twists like in Harry Potter. And very complex. Very good writing

This is the book from Rowling that I didn't expect to give such a not-so-nice review. Maybe because I was still hooked with Harry Potter Series, that it seemed too serious and adult for my liking when I finished reading it. With many people' stories told here, it seems that the main character of this book is the town itself. It occurs to me that Rowling doesn't tell anyone's story here, but she tells the story of the town as a whole. Hence, you will find various stories of people living in the town. Complicated, but very interesting subject if you want to analyze it, you know with English-Lit style. Any English Lit students must understand what I mean...
