worth reading
By: Isti Maisaroh

Two short stories for 19k rupiah. Very short and so worth it as well. I've never read Tolstoy's writing before, but this one caught my attention.

Little book that pack a punch!
By: Ganda Rakhman

Superb! Leo Tolstoy shows that message-heavy story is working with engaging premise, beautiful writing, intriguing character, and tight plot. The thing is, readers might be taking any lesson based on their own interpretation, no matter what is initially intended by the author. Here are my own interpretation:

- The first story covers the cost of greed. Whatever level of wealth we have, peace of mind is dictated by the level of gratitude of the things we have and... See More

earned.  - The second story covers the power of compassion. Whatever level of wealth we have, we still have a thing to share, no matter how small. The key is compassion and sacrifice. I understand why these two stories packed in the same book. The economy theme is the red thread, and I thoroughly enjoy and agree with the author messages (assuming that is his message).

Best Penguin Little Black Classics
By: Eviana Misty

I really like Penguin LIttle Black Classic series. It's good quality and affordable. How much land does a man need? A classic question but (I believe) still remain unanswered. This book hit me so hard. We could change the title to be: How much fortune (money) that a man need? How much appreciation that a man need? How much time that a man need? How much book that a man (I) need? Or anything All of the question above will answered with unlimited solution. That makes me think again about 'enough'. That kind of greed always resulting a problem. There was already too many example about that, just like this book. So at some point, we must stop and just enjoy what I've done.... See More

We must never say "if I stopped now, after coming all this way-well, they'd call me an idiot!" on my entire life if we don't want to end up "six feet from head to heel, which was exactly the right length. And buried him."
