We're back to the magical world of Daevabad where everyone is plotting! My favorite thing from this sequel is the women's wickedness and the boys' helplessness. Sounds a bit cruel, but Prince Ali could learn how the world works and Dara has so many things to redeem. It's even more complicated than the first book because a new powerful character was revealed while the conflict between djinn and shafit (half-djinn) became more intense.
