Description

In the New York Times bestselling sequel to Soman Chainani's debut, The School for Good and Evil, Sophie and Agatha are back in Gavaldon, living out their Happily Ever After, but life isn't quite the fairy tale they expected.

Witches and princesses reside at the School for Girls, where they've been inspired to live a life without princes, while Tedros and the boys are camping in Evil's old towers. A war is brewing between the schools, but can Agatha and Sophie restore the peace? Can Sophie stay good with Tedros on the hunt? And whose heart does Agatha's belong to--her best friend or her prince?

Soman Chainani has created a spectacular world that Newbery Medal-winning author Ann M. Martin calls "a fairy tale like no other, complete with romance, magic, humor, and a riddle that will keep you turning pages until the end."

Dark, Enjoyable, and Very Original

I loved so many things about this book I don't even know where to begin. -Sophie becomes this character that I loved soooo much! -The plot is nowhere near predictable. -We get to know more about Tedros here. -The... See More
conversations are hilarious and dark at the same time. -NO MORE WHINY GIRLS WHINING OVER BOYS!!!   But, unfortunately, there's still one thing that makes me took half a star off my rating for this book.

The Agatha we knew is no more.

All in all, I think  A World Without Princes totally surpassed my expectations. I'm still in love with it even though months have passed. It's a dark and funny Middle-Grade book that's filled with adventure and magic that will totally keep you seated for hours. This book proves that even though the first book in the series sucks, doesn't mean the sequel sucks too. Because you know what? I would totally recommend the first book for everyone to read just so they could read the sequel after that.
