This book is about a story of a man who falls in love with an elf. Just like Aragorn and Arwen. But Beren and Luthien here is not in the background, they’re the story. It’s not the Lord of The Rings, but if you love Tolkien’s work, you have to read this.

Periplus never disappoints me with all my orders

Too bad its not a coherent story. Unlike Earlier Tolkien Story, this one is just a collection of rough draft his dad made of the story of Beren and Luthien, how it progressed between each manuscript and not much else.

All in all, it’s much more detailed than the one in Silmarillion, but it’s not worth the time to read if you’re looking for a poetic story about love and strife.
