Charmingly told and stunningly illustrated, this is a wonderful collection of short stories narrating select moments in Cardans life before, during, and after the events of the ‘folk of the air’ series.

I was quite annoyed because of the price range between 3 publishers is really far. But, thankfully, Little Brown provides the middle price and the book is great! Before the book arrived, I thought the book would be super thin, but when it came, I think it's average. The quality of the product is really great, everything's perfect. I really recommend to buy this last and if you already bought it along with the 3 books, just don't open it (no peeking). The book contains spoilers from all of the 3 books! But, let me say this, the illustrations from the book are perfect! Totally recommend this book, it's super worth it! Thank you Periplus.
How the King of Elfhame Learned to Hate Stories is an illustrated novella following Cardan Greenbriar, during many different stages in his life, while we slowly see all the different things that shaped him cruelly. It's beautiful illustrated. I wanted black cover edition but should happy with this copy instead. It's too short. I always love thick book because it can offer more details and details bring the story more alive. This book isn't available in periplus offline store. You need to wait a month or less to get this.
