Between 3−4 stars rating, 07 January 2019 Marie Lu Did It Again!

I like how Marie Lu described Gotham City as dark as it seems, of course with the appearance of The Nightwalkers as the villains. At first, this book is about how Bruce Wayne becomes a Batman, like... in deep cave training (like the Dark Knight) or something else.... See More style="color: rgb(24, 24, 24); font-family: Merriweather, Georgia, serif; font-size: 14px;">But in fact, this book is about "Bruce Wayne", only a reckless 18 years old billionaire who saved the city, and WITHOUT a costume, even though in the end, he wears a cape or something. This book is quite slim, only 250 pages. But I've got bored in the middle of this book, whereas it can be an advantage to develop the story to be more challenging and have a quick plot. Also, I don't really like the insta-(in) love-with-the-villain between Bruce and Madeline, which she is one of the Nightwalkers. They're perfect, but it's too fast... I just..uhhmmm! I like it so far, but....I expected more.
