In general, law schools and professions are considered prestigious and promise an established career and financial life. However, in this novel, John Grisham describes the grim side of the life of law students. Three friends, law school students, Mark Frazier, Todd Lucero and Zola Maal, from poor families. With the lure of a brilliant future dream, they are caught in debt to finance their law school. When the lecture stayed one more semester, they realized the gloom of their future. Family problems, debt bondage, difficulty getting a job and minimal income make them choose another way to run away from all these problems. They took high risks by "playing" with the law.
The Rooster Bar presents the adventure of three young people with interesting problems. Personally, I like the Rooster Bar story more than Camino Island.
