I like the John Grisham’s law novels. I also like John Grisham's non-legal novel, "A Painted House", with a child as the main character. The Fugitive is the first Theodore Boone series I read. In the early chapters, the storyline of this book is slow and monotonous, but starting from the middle book the story began exciting and tense. In this book, John Grisham succeeded in creating the children version of the legal novel. The legal issues in the story are presented simply, from the point of view of a thirteen-year-old child, easily understood by children, making this book suitable for children 8-year-old and up.
