I did have to read this for my class but I really enjoyed it. It isn't something I would have picked if I were to go to the book store.
Huxley paints a scary picture of a possible future for the world we live in and the revisited part is his own commentary regarding the pace of technology that might allow it to actually happen because we blindly follow thinking it doesn't concern me or it won't affect me, once it becomes something big we are so far in we can't do anything about it. We blindly convince our self that we can gain convenience without giving up our freedom.
Anyone with these ideas roaming around in their head should have this near the top of their required reading list.
