Jack Reacher novels are surprisingly repetitive, yet we read it for the sense of mystery and suspense of knowing what that mystery is. So, we are left quite shocked when we do know what it is all about in the fifth chapter (no spoilers).

Much of this book is set inside the M25 orbital around London, with Reacher being helped by agent Casey Nice in his pursuit of the “baddies”. Anyway, it’s an interesting story that is filled with interesting Reacher’s observation of modern day London. You could almost imagine how Lee Child spend some time around London jotting down what he thinks Reacher thinks of London.
