A Good Idea Wasted
By: Aldilla Yasmin Inas

The Rain is a book with such a good idea, but, unfortunately, the writer doesn't seem to know how to write properly and the idea is gone to waste. I won't really recommend this book to anyone, but if you're looking for a very light read or simply want to know how bad the book really is, then maybe you should read this.

Such an Amazing Idea Gone Wasted
By: Aldilla Yasmin Inas

I need to emphasize some things. I truly truly expected so many things when I picked this book. I mean, it's a killer-rain! It's a book about rain that kills! What could go wrong with that? I really wanted to know how the characters or anyone in this book were going to deal with it. I expected badass characters and mind-blowing scenes. Instead, we were given a girl who's apparently able to survive the whole thing... See More

by pure luck. It's such a good idea, but unfortunately it's written in such a horrible way that it's like throwing a diamond in a dumpster. I wouldn't say I hate this book because I did enjoy it at some points, no, cross that, I did enjoy it at very few points. I liked how the character is able to do something right at very few points. I liked how the plot is fast-paced and not filled with hogwash. I liked how so many things are so unpredictable and I couldn't help but gaped at the book, because,  I surely didn't see it coming at all (notice the sarcasm?)! Finally, when I knew that there was going to be another book in the series (yeah! Ruby survives for another book! How surprising is that?!), I decided to give it a shot. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as this one. Because surely this one is so messed up. The next book is called The Storm and I'm going to review it very soon (I already owned a copy and finished reading it a few months ago).
