This book is actually enticing. You know, again Cole brings us a fresh story about another mystical/immortal creature which I—almost—have never found in another PNR books. The concept of predestined mate is still the same. But the storytelling is always so fresh and new. The tale of a tortured hero, and a heroine that you'll never expect.
