Here's the thing. I think safe to say, John Green already got his formula to create a really great book to read. It's consist of one female lead, one male lead and a similiar premis but with different excecution. At least that what you will find in 'Looking for Alaska' and 'Paper Town'. Both of the books gives similiar taste but, while Paper Town providing more fun, mischievous, and bright story, Looking for Alaska will gives you slightly the opposite.
You will find how deep, and gloom this story about alaska is. while in some pages you will turn your lip to smile for reading some jokes by the main character, you will still find this novel to be a... See More
serious one.
You will find the mysteries to solve while reading this books till the last page. you will questioning the story and the background of each character. Haha.. and to be honest this book will set the great mysteries in the end of it and it's really up to you how to solve (by 'solve' i mean interpret) the ending yourself.
