Description

From the #1 bestselling author of Turtles All the Way Down and The Fault in Our Stars

Michael L. Printz Honor Book
Los Angeles Times Book Prize Finalist
New York Times Bestseller

When it comes to relationships, Colin Singleton's type is girls named Katherine. And when it comes to girls named Katherine, Colin is always getting dumped. Nineteen times, to be exact. On a road trip miles from home, this anagram-happy, washed-up child prodigy has ten thousand dollars in his pocket, a bloodthirsty feral hog on his trail, and an overweight, Judge Judy-loving best friend riding shotgun--but no Katherines. Colin is on a mission to prove The Theorem of Underlying Katherine Predictability, which he hopes will predict the future of any relationship, avenge Dumpees everywhere, and finally win him the girl. Love, friendship, and a dead Austro-Hungarian archduke add up to surprising and heart-changing conclusions in this ingeniously layered comic novel about reinventing oneself.

Not as good as I expected
By: Leanita Winandari

This book has interesting premise--the only reason I bought this book, beside it's John Green's. But I can't relate with the characters and the story itself. There are times when I argued  with myself to put down this book, and I always did it. I can't stand Colin, he's too whinny and annoying, imho, and it's really hard to like him.

Though, I think this book is okay and--there are many people who like this book and I still in love with John Green's writing style--An Abundance of Katherines is clearly my worst experience wtih John Green's books.

It didn't work very well for me. This book has no point to it and it is kind of confusing how this book changes from first point of view to a second point of view.

Katherines?
By: Laurentia Krisanti

Same name, different stories, same endings. It's always been like that for him. “Books are the ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they’ll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back.”

An abundance of Katherines
By: Kathleen Wong

Attention contemporary lovers, an abundance of Katherines is a book written by John Green. If you haven't heard of John green, where the hell have you been? He wrote a new york times bestselling book called 'the fault in our stars' and now has been adapted into a movie and on DVDs.

An abundance of Katherines is a novel written by a first person's point of view. This book is about Collin Singleton who is trying to be genius (not). The thing about him is that: he always dated a girl named Katherine. no matter what. A recent Katherine has just recently dumped him and he found himself attracted to a girl whose name isn't... Katherine.

This book is written beautifully by Mr. Green. All the words, the dialogues yet the plot is so interesting. Getting into the book is the icing of a cake. Since it is a Young Adult contemporary fiction, getting into it is pretty easy. The words are easy there no difficult vocabularies.

I definitely recommend this book to be read during mourning periods or a huge book hangover. This book makes your heart felt a little warmer. This book has an interesting concept and words that tie in together perfectly. It made such a wonderous book.

If you just started into liking and/or enjoying reading, I definitely recommend to picking this book up. Its a pretty short book with an interesting plotline and easy vocabularies. So? Go pick this book up!

An Abundance of Katherines: Perjalanan Menyelamatkan Kaum Tercampak
By: Yogiana Prabaswari

ini merupakan kali pertama saya membaca buku karangan John Green. An Abudance of Katherines menceritakan kisah Colin Singleton seorang anak ajaib yang ingin menjadi anak genius.

See More

Lindsey.

Buruan dibeli :)
