Despite the suicidal theme, this is light. I continue reading just because I want to know Hannah’s story. And I don’t understand why this book is such a hype. Maybe because I’m not into Young Adults genre.

I bought this book ages ago but I finally read it last year before the Netflix adaptation. I really like the book more than the adaptation. I think the book capture the events better. It's one of the most memorable book that I read. Especially how it ends in the book.
I didn't think that I like this book as much as I enjoyed the tv show. Somehow, the book and the tv completed each other. And I fuckin' love that. Its too depressed at one time to read Hannah's life, too depressing, and too much suffering. I thought that even though I know the end from the tv show, still....when I finished the book, it wrecks me. Hannah could've been alive if she wanted to open up... to Clay! Clay..Oh my God my poor baby :"(
