Books should read once in a lifetime
By: Josephine Moira

The best book I've read. Took almost 1 month till I get my hands of it. But worth every penny and time. Can't put it down once I started reading it. How Murkhejee elaborate the histroy feels like I am inside the story. I'm not medical student but I can follow the story. For those who are curious of the story of cancer, when it found, how it treated before and now, and how they prevent and tried 'curing' cancer. A disease, an anomaly that even with the current technology and knowledge still haven't found the exact 'cure'. This is the exact book you are looking for.

Extraordinary and Wonderful
By: Kartika Nurfadhilah

Never thought that I've been read this remarkable book within 1 month >.< Then, I realized... i should read this book during my last year in college, since that i took cancer topic for my thesis. This book emphasize my needs for brief information of cancer though its just the surface of it. There's no need for cancer mechanism nor DNA regulation to fully understand about cancer.

This book tells us about what is cancer? since when cancer has been hunted human health in history? how much the cancer cure progression? I was read this book during my commuter trip; and it succesfully drawn me down through his naration >.< i love ittt huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu... See More

this book is much worth my time to wait almost 1 month >< While i read this book, i'm ordered The Gene: An Intimate Story as he claimed as The Emperor of All Maladies sequel.

Then, i will quote some paragraph in A Private Plague chapter

" Cancer is an expansionist disease; it invades through tissues. set up colonies in hostile landscape, seeking sanctuary in one organ, and then immigrating to another. It lives desperately, inventively, fiercely, territorially, cannily, and defensively--at times, as if teaching us how to survive. To confront cancer is to encounter a parallel species, one perhaps more adapted to survival than even we are"
