Harry Potter is the very first series I can tell that I am hooked the moment I touched it years ago in my teen years. This sixth book of the series is what I call "the moment Harry has to face his biggest fear".
Harry Potter is not just interesting in the way Rowling tells her story in much engaging way that we cannot put down her books until we finish it, but aso the way she creates her characters real to ourselves and their development that we can all relate through our growing ups.

Growing up without parents and more, he had to live with his cruel's... See More
aunt's family, made him longing for a family, a real one for him. He found it in Hogwarts and Dumbledore was close to a father figure for him, especially before Sirius came into his life. Sirius would be the closest relation he could have to his biological father and losing him in book five was already a pain added to his life, but losing Dumbledore, who was more of a guidance character for him was another blow he had to take. Now he had to lose another anchor in his life.
His struggle growing up is something that makes his story related to the real life. Hopefully, Rowling will keep writing this kind of story for all of us.
